Over the past years, we have extensively dealt with the problem of blocked and destroyed packing material in biological desulfurization plants and developed the optimal packing material for biological desulfurization plants in many field trials in cooperation with operators.

Improved surfaces, shorter edges and optimized openings ensure a much better rinsing of the elemental sulfur during ongoing plant operation.

The result is significantly longer service lives due to significantly less adhesion of the elemental sulfur that forms over time on the packing material.

This means more effective gas routing, less pressure loss and a consistently large surface for the bacteria that remove the H2S from bio, sewage and landfill gas.

All these advantages lead to longer maintenance intervals and thus to extensive cost savings.

Variants

In addition, we offer you a reinforced variant of the packing material, which leads to significantly fewer destroyed and crushed packing materials.

We recommend, especially for very high reactors, to fill the first third of a reactor with reinforced packing materials. This better absorbs the high loads from the packing materials and results in fewer crushed packing materials.
